Hard Edge Flexible Back Band Saw
Blades
.025 Gauge Hard
Edge Flexible Back band saw blades are premium bands for woodworking on all
Vertical/Stationary 2-Wheel Band Saws. They also do a great job on plastic, mild steel and
non-ferrous metals (for machines with speed reduction). Tooth hardness 62-63Rc. Back
hardness 28-32Rc for maximum flexibility. All sizes have raker set teeth for cutting wood
or metal with good chip clearance and a smooth finish. These are heavy duty, durable,
commercial grade band saw blades for industrial, woodworking, DIY and professional
craftsmen. Blades available in Stock Lengths, Custom Lengths and 100' coils.

Wood Band (Hobby and Bench Top)
Saw Blades
These economically priced blades offer the best value to the hobbyist and occasional
woodworker. Narrow wood cutting blades in thin gauge (.014, .015, .018) are ideal for 2
and 3 wheel bench top saws. .020 gauge is standard for 2 wheel stationary saws with up to
14" dia. wheels. Hook style teeth with a 10 degree positive rake angle, rounded
gullet, and wide space between points require less feed pressure and reduce heat build up.
Alternate set (every tooth set) cut faster and turn more easily in tight radius cuts.

TKOTM
(Bench Top and Thin Kerf) Flex Back Band Saw Blades
New .020 Gauge Thin Kerf (TK) Hard
Edge Flexible Back Band Saw Blades are the best performing blades for 2-Wheel Bench Top
and Small Stationary Band Saws with blade lengths from 561/8" to 82".
Thinner gauge blades offer greater performance, accuracy, and stability on smaller band
saws and provide a faster cut on larger saws. They share all the same professional cutting
characteristics of the .025 guage.
"TKOTM" blades for the 2-Wheel bench top band saws listed are
"Guaranteed to Outperform any other bench top bands".

Bi-Metal for Portable Band Saws
Fits all popular portable band saws
such as Milwaukee, Black & Decker, and Porter Cable that use 1/2" wide x .020
thick x 44 7/8" length.

Metal Cutting Band Saw Blades
Hard Back blades have the same tooth hardness as flex back, but hardened backs (40-42Rc),
accept heavier feed pressure and blade tension. For production applications involving easy
to machine metal and similar materials at SLOW SPEEDS. Use 10 and 14 TPI Wavy Set blades
for solid bars or angle iron 1/4" or more thick. Use 18 or 24 TPI Wavy Set blades for
pipe, tubing or thinner sections from 1/8" to 5/16" thick.

Bi-Metal Matrix II Band Saw Blades
Premium Bi-Metal
blades resist heat in excess of 1000 degrees F and outlast Flex Back blades up to 10 times
longer. They are choice for production type metal cutting for a wide range of materials
and cutting conditions. Band saws designed to cut wood only CANNOT cut metal. Only band
saws designated as metal cutting (with gear/speed reduction) can cut metal.

MVPTM
(High Speed Steel Teeth, Tempered Back) Band Saw
Blades
The Best Super Premium Band Saw Blades Made
These Colbalt / Molybdenum
Highspeed Steel Edge and Tempered Back Band Saw Blades are the best blades you can buy.
These Hook Tooth blades have a tooth hardness of 66 - 68Rc and a back hardness of 47 -
51Rc. These blades will cut exotic wood, hard and soft wood and plastic. They will cut
steel and non-ferrous metals with band saws that have speed reduction. They will outlast
standard carbon blades 5:1 on wood and 10:1 on metal. These blades are tough and shock
resistant. You will get truer and straighter cuts. They will even cut through wood with
nails embedded in it.
MVPTM Hook Teeth: wide gullets with a positive face angle and equally spaced
teeth. Allows for coarse pitch on narrow bands. Hook style teeth provide excellent chip
evacuation in thicker wood, plywood, and composition material along with a faster cutting
rate. On band saws equipped with speed reduction and coolant, the tool steel hook teeth
cut non-ferrous metals including alloy, steel, carbon steel, tool steel, stainless steel,
and air hardened die steels.
Custom welded blades are available upon request from 72" to 156".

Band Saw Blades Accessories
Cool Blocks®
Replace Standard Metal
or Plastic Guides with High-Tech Cool Blocks® and Fine Tune Your Band Saw.
Poor performing imitations abound. Only Cool
Blocks® are genuine!
COOL BLOCKS® blade guides are made from
a high tech, non-metallic composite material, "Graphite Impregnated Phenolic
Laminate", which contains three synthetic dry lubricants that lubricate the blade but
do not make it oily. The metal to metal contact made by old metal guide blocks creates
heat and friction which cause premature blade wear and breakage. These problems are
eliminated with COOL BLOCKS blade guides which allow blades to run cooler and last longer
with less friction. COOL BLOCKS blade guides will improve the cutting performance of any
blade width, but are especially effective with 1/16" and 1/8" wide blades for
tight radius work.

Finishing Stone
For improved finish and blade
performance. Lay the side of the wood handle on the table surface and place the silicon
carbide stone against the back of the blade to round off the edges and correct any weld
misalignment. No lubricant needed.
Blade Finishing Stone Advantages: permits
tighter radius cutting, smooths off uneven welds, prevents excessive wear on thrust
bearings, provides a smoother finish on the workpiece during radius cutting and removes
mushrooming on back of blade caused by pressure against thrust bearings.

Lubricant Stick
Saw Blade Lubricant prolongs blade life and produces smoother and
quicker cuts. Wax stick is specially formulated to keep metal, plastic, and wood cutting
blades from clogging because of chips or pitch. For use on all power and hand held cutting
tools including scroll, band, circular, hack and jewelers saw blades. Lubricant Stick
measures 8" long x 1" in diameter.

New! Cutting Tool Lube
Olson's new Cutting Tool Lubricant, CTL, improves the performance and life
of cutting tools by sealing the cutting tool surface and preventing corrosive elements in
wood from etching the cutting tool's point. It adds lubricity to the edge for cutting
through wood fibers more easily with less friction. Unlike other products, CTL won't
effect finishing or glowing and contains no petroleum oils or
silicone.
CTL works on all wood and solid surface cutting tools and knife/razor edged tools, too!
Use it on band, circular hole, saber/reciprocating, coping
and scroll saw blades. Penetrates bearings to clean and lubricate surfaces for longer
bearing life. Works great on router bits, sharpen cutters,
planer/jointer blades, boring and drill bits, turning tools-- any cutting toll you sell.
It's easy to use. Just shake it well before using, apply to the cutting edge during the
cutting process and repeat as needed to remove heat and protect the tooling surface. Safe
to use - nontoxic and nonflammable.
CTL comes in an attention grabbing 8-ounce bottle with 2 applicator tops - spray and
dropper.
